Jotform Inbox Comments: Disable or Send Email Notifications

Hi, so we use your App feature as an application portal for our school. New students create an account and then after applying can check on the status of their submission, see if all their character references are filled out, etc. I noticed when doing a test submission that there is a button at the top that says "Send Message." This essentially leaves a comment on the submission in the inbox. The problem is that we don't check these...AT ALL. Our registrar only operates off of Email and doesn't use this inbox or any of the other Jotform features. I need to know how to either disable this feature for our future students so that they don't accidentally leave a comment and we have no clue in the world... or I need to set it up to email our registrar with every comment so that they know to go and check the Jotform Inbox.

The Problem is, I can't figure out how to do either of these possible solutions. I can't find anywhere to manage these comments.

    Hi jotform_user421_jotform_user558,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked this on my end, and it seems that I can find the Send Message button on my form. For us to check your form setup, can we ask your permission to access your account? I’ll just need access to your account to do that. Don't worry, you can disable that again after we're done checking things out. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In the upper-right corner of your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.

    2. In the small window that opens, click on Settings.

    3. In the panel on the left, click on the Security tab.

    4. Then, on the bottom-right side of the page, toggle Jotform Support Access to the On position.

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.
