How to Let Users Select Dates for their Purchase?

hi!

I am a dog walker. During easter I am offering hikes to the the local kennel. I would like some help to set up a jotform integrated with square, where the dog owner picks up all the dates they want their dog to join in and Square will charge accordingly.

Whilst the price is $40 for walk, I can have two products: 1 dog hike $40 and 2 dogs $80.

Could you advise how to set it up? The hike will only take place between 5 – 21 April 2025 inclusive for now.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can add a Quantity Gift Registry widget and list each date as an item. If you need to set a limit, this widget allows you to set a specific quantity for each item, and it will automatically subtract the quantity for each item whenever a submission is made. Once an item has been selected based on the quantity you set, it will no longer be available for selection by other users. Let me show you how to set that up:

1. In  Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
2. Under the Widgets tab, search for the Quantity gift registry widget and add it to your form.
3. Click on the field's wand icon to open it's settings and add your options with the limit you'd like to set. Once done, click on Update Widget.

uhm, i suppose it does, but is there a way for customer to pick form a calendar their dates? Thanks! R

Hi Resi,

You can use the Date Reservation widget to allow users to select multiple dates on your form. However, it will block selected dates for other users. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on Add Element then go to Widgets tab.
2. Search for Date Reservation widget then add it to your form.
3. Setup the widget based on your preference.

Here's what it'll look like:

thanks, @Jovito, that also does not work - it won't keep track of how many dates are picked and how many spaces are available on each date and does not link to the square payment either.

seems that Jotform doesn't have a solution....

I need a solution that allows to 'sell' up to 4 spaces for each date, within a selections of dates, and links to a square payment.

Hi Resi,

Currently, you can only select the email address to be your customer’s email address sent to your Square records or send the Square-generated receipt to your customers. You can use the widget I suggested or use the appointment field element if you want to limit the slots for each date.

You can easily set this up in JotForm with Square:

1. Add a Square Payment field → Create two products:

• 1 Dog Hike – $40
• 2 Dogs Hike – $80

1. Add a Date Picker field → Enable Multiple Date Selection and limit dates to 5–21 April 2025.
2. (Optional) Use Conditional Logic + Form Calculation to auto-calculate total cost based on selected dates and pass to Square.
