Authorize.net: Payment Redirection

We are integrating a form to authorize.net but we do not want to use the embedded iframe option for payment. I noticed on some of the support articles that we can also redirect to a payment page (through the Thank You page?).

I am having issues trying to understand if all you would need is a checkout url from authorize.net or some other webform to make this happen. When I go into authorize.net I don't see a simple checkout url but that may be something that I need to confirm with them. I am hoping that you all have some experience and knowledge on doing this. Any assistance on this would be appreciated.

    Hi Luis,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can redirect your form to the payment page by adding a payment link in the form settings and clicking on the submit button. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.

    2. Then, in the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Thank You Page.

    3. Now, click on Redirect to an external link after submission to redirect the users in payment page.

     4. Finally, paste the URL to your payment page and you're all set.

You can also try integrating directly your form with our Authorize.net integration by following this guide.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for your response. My question is, are we able to pass the amount to be paid to whichever payment gateway (in this case, authorize.net) so the customer is redirected there to make payment for the full amount without any other manual entry.

    Hi Luis,

I understand you're asking if it's possible to pass the amount to be paid to Authorize.net so the customer can make the payment for the full amount without manual entry. Let me check that for you: Based on the information available, you can Integrate Authorize.net with Jotform to collect payments for product orders and manage recurring payments without additional transaction fees. Here's how to integrate Authorize.net with your form:

    1. In Form Builder, click Add Element from the left.

    2. Go to the Payments tab.
    3. Search for Authorize.Net, and click or drag and drop it to add.

In the Payment Settings, you will need to provide and set up the following:

    • API Login ID
    • Transaction Key
    • Currency
    • Payment Type

You can obtain the API Login ID and Transaction Key through your Authorize.Net account. You may visit this guide for more information.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Thanks Mark. Yes, I know that we can use the tool to integrate it but we do not want an iframe embed for payment. That is the reason that we are searching for an option for a redirect.

    Hi Luis,

I'm afraid that the feature you're looking for is currently not available due to the nature of payment security. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
