How can I import Prefill form link directly into our ActiveCampaign CRM?

    Hi

A cIient who I am working with who wants to send out prefilled forms to collect FBT tax data.

The clients complain that they send in same information every year - and so we want to send a form that is pre-filled with prior years data.

I know how to create pre-filled form based on a previous Jotform being filled in but what I want is for this to happen:

We have data from last year - in a csv file

We can upload this data into ActiveCampaign CRM

We want to use that data to pre-populate a form and then create a pre -populated link URL and send that to the clients from ActiveCampaign, not from Jofform.

I can easily create the unique url for pre-fill but the downloaded form doesn't have an email in it, so cannot upload it to match the clients in the CRM.

Any idea how to do that?

    Cheers

    Darren

    Hi Darren,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to prefill the form using the data in your ActiveCampaign. Currently, the only CRMs that supports form prefill are Salesforce, Hubspot, Airtable, Pipedrive, and Monday.com.

Can you share more details about the flow of the information, and its use case? If the data just needs to be updated every year, you can simply send an Autoresponder Email with the edit link for your users to edit their previous submission. Let me show you how to set that up:

First, set up your Autoresponder Email with the edit link:

    1. In Form Builderin the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.

    3. Hover your mouse over your Autoresponder and click on the Pencil icon to customize it.

    4. Click on the Email Content window, then click on Form Fields, and select Edit Link.

    5. Customize the Edit Link the way you want, and when you're finished, click on Save on the bottom-right side of the Email Content window.

Then, set up the Send Email button from the Jotform Tables.

    1. In Jotform Tables, click on the Add button at the end of the rows, and click on the Buttons tab.
    2. Now, select Send Email, click on Next, and enter a column name, then click on Next again.
    3. Select the email you want, or click on the Create an Email button to set up a new one as needed.
    4. Then, click on the Create Column button, and you're done.

    HI
Okay that is good… I was worried I was missing something
This may explain, ain things better https://www.loom.com/share/641b543ab1794d1ebba49c9b0ae5f3ec?sid=c603aef3-e0d8-41f6-92b4-eaee4b5348c1
I can create the profile link to send the client and can end from Jotform… I want to send that from our CRM instead though?
Mainly because I want the CRM email to be on brand and so the client sees the mail as coming from us, not from Jotform.
I know I can download the Csv of the unique profile urls for each person who has completed a form before… but the download doesn’t include an email so I can load it to our CRM and have it load against each client.
    Cheers

Oh and following your screen share was impossible - way to fast and not useful.

I do not want the emails to go out from Jotform... I want them sent from my own CRM but with the prefill URL link.

If you cant do that I will go back to Content Snare as that seems to be the only one that integrates with ActiveCampaign.

    Cheers

    Hi Darren,

I'm sorry that I wasn't able to post a reply to this thread, this was assigned to me after Joshua. I need more time to look for a solution, but I can recall I created a reply. For some reason, it was not posted on this thread. As a result, you waited for too long and I apologize for that.

Going back to the issue, since you have mentioned you have a CSV file, what I can suggest is upload that file to the Spreadsheet to Form widget. Once users enter a code (for example an email address), the data tied to that email address will automatically populate when the column headings match your form field labels. Let me show you how to use it:

    1. Create a spreadsheet with your data structured like you see below. Make sure that the column names in the spreadsheet match the field names on the form, and include a unique column, like an ID, so the data can be distinguished.

    2. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.

    3. Click on the Widgets tab, search for the Spreadsheet to Form widget and add it to your form.

    4. In the menu on the right side of the page, upload your data file. (You can simply drag & drop your excel file to the Upload File area.)

    5. Then, click on the Downward Arrow icon in the Access Code Column option and select the unique column.

    6. You can also customize texts used in the widget. After you complete everything, click on the Update Widget button at the bottom right of the menu.

Image 3 Screenshot 72 Now, when people fill out your form and enter the unique code from the spreadsheet, the corresponding fields will automatically populate when they click Auto Complete Fields. Check out my screencast below to see how it works:

Now, you also mentioned you want to send the form link using your own CRM. What you can do is, in the email that you will send to your users, you can hyperlink the link of the form.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

    Hi Darren,

If I understood you correctly, what you're referring is when we download the submissions' data with their Prefill URL, there should be a separate column for the email addresses, instead of just having the Name column, and the URL column, which will ideally look like the one in the screenshot below:

How can I import Prefill form link directly into our ActiveCampaign CRM? Image 1 Screenshot 20If so, this feature is currently not available in Jotform right now. But we can escalate this as a feature request, if you could confirm that this is what you're looking for.

As soon as we hear back from you, we can move forward with the request.

Hi, yes that is exactly what I was hoping for... if we had that - this product would change all my clients business dramatically and it would mean that can all dump Contentsnare as a data capture solution.

My clients are accountants and they could then send the same end of year tax form and the end of year FBT tax form for data collection and send prefill links.

Accountants are very very nervous about sending out emails from anything other than their own CRM system such as ActiveCampaign and also hate having too many software stacks.. ActiveCampaign (AC) is the only system I use with my clients.

If that could be done you would have a major major impact ion the accounting industry.

    Cheers

    Darren

    Hi Darren,

While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
