I've tried to make this work, but perhaps its because I am too new at Jotform that I am not able to make it work.
The * are those I am struggling to get to work, if it is even possible.
Requirements:
- Import our PDF form into Jotform
- Prefill most of the fields with Salesforce record data that corresponds to the correct record
- Allow one of our users to manually prefill some of the data that Salesforce cannot/should not prefill *
- Allow one of our users to manually prefill data in an input table *
- Then send to the desired recipient to be signed
- Preferably, auto send the signed PDF copy to the signer*

Hi SHARx,
With Jotform’s Manual Prefill, prepopulating your form fields with data no longer requires you to go outside the form builder. You no longer need to maintain a spreadsheet for multiple URLs, as the prefilled URLs are saved within your settings and can be shared again when needed. It is also secured, as prefilled URLs are saved with unique tokens to display the data. Let me show you how to set that up:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
- Select the Prefill tab from the left menu.
- Click on the Manual Prefill option.
- Next, click on the +Add a New Prefill button. This will open the form where you can enter the data for further prefilling.
5. Now, fill in all the fields you wish to prepopulate. Once done, click on the Create button.
You can also try to use Jotform Prefill to create a partially prefilled form. You can manually fill in fields that Salesforce doesn’t handle, and share the unique prefilled link with the signer. To enable manual data entry with a structured layout, add an Input Table field to your form. You can prefill the table manually, or leave it blank for the signer to complete during submission.
As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

Thank you for your response.
The solutions solved my requirements/requests in parts but not the connected whole, unfortunately. I know how to use the different parts, but what I am looking for is:
- How to manually prefill AND
- have Salesforce prefill other fields AND
- then send to someone to fill the remaining sections AND
- Sign when done

Hi SHARx,
To achieve a seamless workflow, start by using Jotform’s Salesforce Prefill to auto-populate relevant fields, enable internal users to manually prefill additional details using Save & Continue Later, then send the form to the recipient to complete the remaining sections and sign before final submission.
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Prefill and select Salesforce Dynamic Prefill.
3. Now click on Authenticate or log in to your Salesforce account.
4. Click on the Dropdown button under the Lookup Object and select which record you want to get the data from. In my example, I selected Contact.
5. Now set the Lookup Filter and select which form field trigger or use to prefill the data.
6. Now map the fields you want to populate from Salesforce to your form and click on the Save button once done.
7. Now the prefilled link is created, and you can open the link in a new tab or click on the Copy button and share the prefilled link to the recipient.
To add a save button to continue progress on filling out the form, you can go to form settings.
8. While in Form Builder, click on the Settings tab on the top area and click on the Show More Options button.
9. Scroll down to the Save and Continue Later dropdown button and select Enabled.
Here's the sample result:

You can add a signature element to your form to sign it after filling out the whole form. You can check out our guide on How to Prefill Your Form Using Data From Salesforce.
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

That looks to be working for the most part. Thank you!
The last main question I have regarding this process is how do I prefill a jotform date field from a salesforce date field?
When I map the field in the prefill settings, the data does not prefill. When I create a text field in JotForm for the Salesforce date I get the following data improperly formatted:

Also, how do I map a picklist value in Salesforce to Jotform?

Hi SHARxPlan,
Currently, there is no option to prefill the Date Picker field from Salesforce. The only workaround is to pass the date to a Short Text field; but, there is no way to set a format that matches Salesforce.
Additionally, Picklist (Multi-select) can be mapped to Single and Multiple Choice field. But the options set in Salesforce should be the same as the options entered in the form.
