I am trying to set up a workflow whereas when a condition is selected a certain form should be completed. I guess I'm missing the point about this workflow thing because it doesn't work.
Essentially this is the flow:
However when I enter the condition in the first form, it goes nowhere. I expected one of the other forms to open. Why isn't this happening? I tried putting a submit element in but all that does is submit my starting form. I need it to go onto one of the other forms based on the selection. Would appreciate some help --- yes, I have read all I can about workflows there isn't anything there that answers my dilemma.

Hi Carolina,
You need to submit the form in order for you to receive the second form. This is only if the conditions are met. So, in your workflow, if the email field is filled out or the Type of Work Requested is equals to Warranty, the Warranty Request Form will be sent to the form filler's email address. Check out my screenshot below for reference:
Here's the result:
If you don't want the users to receive the second form by email, and just redirect them to the second form after filling out your Work Request form, I suggest setting up a Change Thank You Page condition. But first, let's get your two other form URLs:
- In Form Builder, click on Publish on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Select Quick Share from the left side window.
- From Share With Link, click on the Copy Link button.
- Do the same with your T&M Work Request Form.
Let's now set up your Change Thank You Page condition.
- In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Select Conditions from the left side window.
- Click on Change Thank You Page.
- Set up the condition like the one below and click on Save at the bottom of the page. Since your email field is already set as required, you don't need to indicate it in the condition.
- Set up another Change Thank You Page condition like the one below:
Here's the result:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Select Workflows from the left side window.
- Click on the Gear icon of the current workflow.
- Click on the Trash Can icon to Delete it.
- Click on the Gear icon again and select Purge.
- From the modal, click on Confirm.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
