Hello,
Based on the current Corvid19 restrictions, we need to be able to limit the number of people attending certain events.
So if I have a Multichoice selection of events, I need to able to set a max number of selections for each event.
Also what would be interesting is if I can display the current number of people who have chosen an event so that users can judge when to enter for specific events or not.
Is this function available, I have tried to search but not found anything that suitable.
Thanks

Hello ejwjohn,
If you want to set submissions limit, please follow the steps below:
1) Go to your Form Builder and navigate to the Settings tab above.
2) From the Form Settings click on the Form Status dropdown menu.
3) Click on the Disable on Submission Limit.
4) Set Submission Limit as your preference.
5) Customize a Warning Message.
Instead of Submission Limit; If you want to set a limit to each event, you can do it with Ticket Purchase Widget. Please follow the steps below:
1) Go to your Form Builder and click on the Add Form Elements.
2) Navigate to the Widget section and search for Ticket Purchase.
3) Add it to your form field by clicking on it or dragging dropping.
4) Click on the Wizard icon to complete settings.
5) Make the settings as shown.
6) Change the title by clicking on Ticket Type.
For your second question, please follow the steps below:
1) Click on the little arrow on the left top and go to Reports.
2) Click on the Blank and click on the Create.
3) Click on the Ticket Purchase from Form elements.
4) On the right field, you can customize Chart Type. I preferred Text Grid.
5) Click on the Publish button on the right top.
6) Click on the Gear icon and set it as Public Report.
7) Copy the link by clicking on the Copy Link button.
8) Go back to your Form Builder as shown.
9) Add your form Iframe Embed widget and paste the copied URL.
10) Click on the Update Widget.

Hello,
I have added the widget to this form https://form.jotform.com/200392056174046
I do not think this will work for me I have looked for instruction on how to set this widget up and cannot find anything.
I have two major problems I want to use the form to collect entries to a sailing event so I need to know how much the person filling out the form needs to pay, and I cannot find a total cost field for this widget.
Is there one?
The other point is that there are 2 "Tickets" with slightly different names and different prices, but they re for the same event/seat, can I combine the total number of entries/seats for the two tickets, the two similar tickets example is as follows:-
Dinghy Early Sunday League - Single Handed - €20{20}
Dinghy Early Sunday League - Double Handed - €25{20}
Thanks

Hello ejwjohn,
To start with the first question; There is a Form Calculation Widget to collect total price. But you can not do it with only one Ticket Purchases Widget. You need to add the Widget for each product/event.
Please follow the steps below:
1) Go to your Form Builder and add your form Ticket Purchases Widgets for each event as shown below.
2) Go back to the Widget tab and add Form Calculation on your form field.
3) Click on the Wizard icon to make settings.
4) Customize it by clicking on Add Field and + icon as shown. Here is a guide about Form Calculation Widget.
For your second request; Unfortunately, there is no way to do it with Ticket Purchases Widget or Inventory Widget.
You can set special pricing with Product List or other Payment Gateways. To do that please follow the steps below:
1) Go to the Basic tab and add the Product List to your form.
2) Click on the Create New Product and set for special pricing as shown. Here is a guide about Special Pricing.
In the meanwhile, We have escalated your request to our developers. However, we can't give you an ETA on it. We will inform you on this thread if they have any updates.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Firstly,
Thank for all the effort you have gon through to answer this question, however, I have now realised that to use this widget I will have to redesign the rest of the form which has been thoroughly tested, The decision to add this feature was a late one and now need to find another way to put a limit on certain items.

Hi,
I apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, we have these widgets that have the functionality to limit the available items/places:
They are all slight variations of the same functionality. Our normal multiple-choice field, unfortunately, doesn't have this functionality.
Please note that we have submitted a feature request to create special pricing for the inventory widget, so the development of this in the future will be considered by our developers.
Can you please take a look at the above widgets, and let us know if one of them would work in your form?
Looking forward to your answer.
