Save and Continue Later: Ability to use form fields on the email subject.

Hi, I was wondering if there were a way to customize the email subject from a Save & Continue later submission/notification? The purpose of my request is so that I could differentiate form notifications in my email inbox. Otherwise, I would have multiple(s) of said form for different submissions sitting in my inbox, and I would not know which form is for which submission.

It's possible to change the email content from the form settings, please kindly check this image for reference:

    I hope this helps.

Sorry, this doesn't help.. I already knew that I could customize, but I cannot customize with fields from the form. In other words, if I put a "name" field, I cannot put the name field in the notification subject. There is no way to differentiate the submission notifications. They are identical..

Ok, it seems like you're referring instead to the email notification rather than the email sent out while using the save and continue later feature, it's indeed possible to customize the email notification that you receive upon each submission, you will find the options on the email wizard while editing the email template, here is a guide that will help you finding this: https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-up-Email-Notifications

Email notification settings allow to use fields on the subject:

If you're still unable to do so, please share us a screenshot about how are you receiving the emails and the section where you're trying to use the fields, note that attached images via email replies will not reach this ticket, but you can upload your images following this guide: How to Post Screenshots to Our Support Forum

No, I'm sorry once again. I am talking about the Save & Continue later notification. If I have several forms out at once, being "saved & continued later" I will not be able to distinguish which one is which in my e-mail inbox. Because, the subject and bodies of those email notifications will be identical. Therefor, the only way of knowing which one is which will be by opening them.. This is my dilemma. Is there a way to add a field property to the subject line or email body content of the Save & Continue Later notification email. If not, are there any work arounds for my issue?

The save and continue email template is customizable. If you want to recognize which form sent you the "save and continue later" email then keep the form name/title in the email subject.

Can you please show us a screenshot of the email you're referring to so we can give you a solution or workaround for your needs?

    Looking forward to your response.

As you can see, I attempt to insert the {name} field in the subject line, but it does not respond (I have read it is because the data input has not yet been captured because the form has not been submitted)

Is there a work-around to save data and revisit to continue later but be able to distinguish between different user designated forms without having to open each one individually and physically see the data that's already inputted?

    Thanks for the details.

Unfortunately, there is not a workaround at the moment for this. I'm opening a feature request so this can be implemented; however, we cannot provide an ETA, but we will keep you updated via this ticket.

    Thanks.
