How to customize the Autoresponder email

    Emailed recipients will receive a message with the PDFs attached.

    How I can change the email format, email address, jotform branding according to our business requirements.

    Hi The Enlighten Academy,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you explain more about changing the email address of your email format? Are you referring to the sender email? If yes, then let me show you how to set up SMTP:

    1. Go to your Account Settings.

    3. Select Custom.

    5. Enter your SMTP details.
    6. Click on the Send Test Email button, to test if the SMTP works.

    Here are the details that you have to fill out:

    • SMTP Account Username — Unless your hosting provider specifies a unique username, this should be your email address.
    • SMTP Account Password — Enter the password of the given SMTP Account.
    • Host Name — The hostname provided by your hosting provider.
    • Email Address — Your email address.
    • Password —The password for the given email address/username.
    • Security Protocol — Select TLS or SSL.
    • Port — Enter 587 for TSL or 465 for SSL.

    You can remove Jotform Branding once you have a paid subscription. You can't remove this if you're under a Starter account. Let me show you how to do this:

    1. Go to your Account Settings.
    2. Select Settings from the left side window.
    3. Uncheck Show “Powered by Jotform” on my forms from Jotform Branding.How to customize the Autoresponder email Image 1 Screenshot 103

    After this, you can now add your new sender email and remove Jotform Branding from your Autoresponder Email. Let me show you how to customize your Autoresponder Email:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Select Emails from the left side window.

    4. In the Email Content, you can edit and change your email format.
      a. Enter your preferred message.
      b. Remove the Jotform logo and branding by clicking on the Delete Column button.

    5. To attach PDF submissions:
      a. Click on the Advanced tab.
      b. Toggle Attach PDF.
      c. Select the PDF that you want to attach. If you haven't created a PDF, select Default Document. How to customize the Autoresponder email Image 4 Screenshot 136
    6. To change your sender email:

    a. Still from the Advanced tab, scroll down your mouse to the bottom of the page and select the email address that you've set up from the Sender Email.
