So, this is a real problem. How do i make an alternative email of a google workspace user the sender-email?

With the alternative email you cant use the "google" method, and the "individual" method does not seem to work either!

So, how does that work? It is extremely urgent and important!!! Can´t believe you dont provide a guide first hand

    Hi Team Rofan,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Are you referring to adding an alias email address (an alternative email) as the sender email? If so, unfortunately, Google’s OAuth 2.0 only supports authenticating the primary account, and you can't authenticate directly using an alias.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Let us know if you have any other questions.

There are ways to authenticate alias/alternative E-Mails. What I need is a guide. Just to say "doesnt work" won´t do it, this is absolutely necessary, so please provide the step to step guide on that. This is something alot of your customers are effected of! Totally unprofessional

    Hi Christoph,

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we’re looking into this.

If that´s really not currently available than this is what I mean by unprofessional. It is important to many users.

Yeah, as of September 30th 2024 only O2Auth is supported so we can’t add an alias manually. Would need to be a functionality on Jotform’s end so we’re at they’re mercy. @Christoff

As in there should be a manual selection for the alias. @jotformsupportHow to use an alternative/alias email as the sender email with Google Workspace? Image 1 Screenshot 20 Screenshot 10

    1. Enable the 2-Step Verification on your Google Account > Security.
    2. Generate a password for Jotform via App Passwords. Search for Google App Passwords (links get deleted in the replies). On the App Passwords page, you can name it Jotform for easier reference. Copy the password and save for later.
    3. On your Jotform, go to Settings > Sender Emails > + Add Sender Email. Choose Custom.
    4. Configure the SMTP
