Having issues getting the Autoresponder to work.

    I am working on two forms. Having the same problem with both. Form Names are:

    2024 Sponsorship Opportunities for the NWNA Social

    Westin November 8, 2024 Registration/Order Form


    I am trying to send an Autoresponder out to the person that filled out the form. The Notification email works fine and sends me the copy when they sign up. This is the way I have the Autoresponder set up-see screen print.

    I have details in a .pdf file if you can tell me how to send it.

    I also have set up the Product List-->invoice option was enabled. Do I need both???


    I have viewed the User Guides, looked at the youtube video and looked in the Jotform book but cant determine what I am doing wrong.

    Hi Cathy,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I saw that you've set up the Autoresponder Email for both forms properly, and it should be sending a notification email to the email address entered in the Email field on those forms. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I'd encounter any issues, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

    As you can see, I was able to receive the Autoresponder Email. Try to do a test submission on your forms to see if it's going to work as well.

    Hi Gian_D. I did get the form like you did to my treasurer@nwcape.com email Which is the Notification email, but did not get anything from the Autoresponder E-Mail ceeybs62@comcast.net. I turned off the Invoice function under the Product List. Did you get the copy in your john@example.com email?

    The form I just tested is the 2024 Sponsorship Opportunities..... one. Can you try this form and use my email as part of the test? Thanks for your help Cathy

    Hi Cathy,

    I have checked email logs for ceeybs62@comcast.net, and I can see that submission email was sent from noreply@jotform.com to ceeybs62@comcast.net on 20th Sep 2024. You can also check these email logs under your Account Settings. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Forms page, hover your mouse over your Avatar/Profile on the top-right side of the page.

    2. In the menu that comes up, click on Settings.

    3. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on History.

    Having issues getting the Autoresponder to work Screenshot 41You can check this guide to make sure you receive notification emails. You can also prevent mailing issues by setting up a Custom Sender for Email Alerts.

    Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we'll do some more testing to see what's going on.

    Thanks so much. Apparently, it is something going on with my Comcast email. I tried eybs.cathy@nwcape.com and the Autoresponder worked fine. Checked to see if noreply@jotform.com was in my blocked file, but it was not. I added it to my allowed senders and the autoresponder still did not go thru. Thanks for your time. Will have a few more people check out the form before I release it.

    Hi Cathy,

    I'd suggest whitelisting Jotform IP Addresses and Domains with your email provider, as they may be blocking the emails from Jotform. Please test on another email address and if you run into anything else, feel free to update us with the results.

    Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
