How to change the email address which is already being used in another Jotform account?

    I would like to update our User ID and contact information so that the auto-reply can be updated. When I go into Account Settings, I need to complete this form to add a new Sender Email address. However, I do not understand all the fields required like Port and Security Protocol. See screenshot:

    Hi Kehau,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Before adding a sender email, you must know the SMTP credentials. I suggest contacting your email service or hosting provider if you don’t know this. But still, let me show you how to set up a sender email/SMTP from your account:

    1. Go to your Account Settings.

    3. Enter the SMTP details.
    4. Once you're done, click the Test Email button to confirm that everything is working.

    Here are the details that you have to fill out:

    • Email Address: Your email address.
    • Host Name: The hostname provided by your hosting provider.
    • Port: 587 or 465.
    • Username: Your email address. Unless the hosting provider specifies a unique username, this should be the same as the email address.
    • Password: The password for the given email address/username.
    • Security Protocol: TLS or SSL.

    Can you tell us more about what you want to happen? What User ID are you referring to? If you want to update your general information, you just have to go to your Account Settings. Let me walk you through this:

    1. On your My Forms page, hover over your Avatar/Profile in the upper right corner of the page.

    What I want to do is change the account email from stt@ghni.org to globalops.hr@ghni.org. Both accounts are owned by me. When I originally opened this account with JotForm, it was for managing applications related to stt@ghni.org. Now we have expanded it to manage all our forms for the organization and it's important that JotForm shows globalops.hr@ghni.org as the manager when I log in or approve forms. I have already programmed each form to use the correct email address for responses according to the form's purpose, but it defaults to stt@ghni.org when I'm signed in as my ID. My actions are noted as completed by stt@ghni.org and I prefer the default to be the globalops.hr@ghni.org.

    Hi Kehau,

    It is important to know that you can't use one email address for the two different Jotform accounts. So, you will need to log into your other Jotform account and replace this : globalops.hr@ghni.org with another email address, such as AOL, HOTMAIL, or Yahoo Mail. So, this way, your this email address: globalops.hr@ghni.org will become free. After that, you can log into your this Jotform account registered under the email address: stt@ghni.org and replace it with:  globalops.hr@ghni.org.
