429 Too Many Requests #21 ERROR: What does it mean?

    Hi, we are getting this error on this form.

    429 Too Many Requests #21

    We are internally registering attendees that have priority before sending it out to membership. We have entered 16 or so and have 7 more to enter. I know you have a 60 submission limit in an hour but that's not near how many we've entered.

    I have cleared our cache in the account settings.

    Can you check things from your side?

    Hi ABC Mississippi,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. 429 Too many requests #21 message means the IP failed because of too many request in a limited time.This is error message of rate limiter. In other words, it comes when there is high traffic on the server. For example, if too many submissions happen from the same IP in a limited time window this error will appear. This is to protect forms, fraudulent card attempts etc. However, may we ask for the IP address you are using to access and submit the form to whitelist it from our end?

    Yes, I know. I need to get it fixed so we can continue to register the remaining 7 today. When will this be fixed?

    Sure, let me help you resolve the issue. Can you provide the IP address that you are currently using to submit the form so we can whitelist it on our end?

    I already went ahead and successfully whitelisted the IP address you've provided as requested. You should be able to have your form filled out and submitted.
