    Hi team.

I'm working on a potential automation workflow solution for a client where they collect customer information using a Jotform which then automatically completes multiple PDFs instead of their current manual process of completing each PDF one by one.

I've just attempted to log back into my account to continue what is currently only a test of this workflow system and the form I am working on is only a test-case but found that my account has been suspended.Could I please have my account resuspended and keep this test form? You can see from the couple of submissions that exist in it already it is just me testing with dummy info.

    Thank you,

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Your account was suspended because you’ve got a form named Enagic Test that’s breaking our Terms of Use by collecting credit card information in plain text fields.

In line with our PCI certification, we have to deny the collection of credit card details on regular forms. But, we have other PCI-compliant ways you can do this. All you need to do is choose one of the payment processors available on our platform and integrate it into your form. You still won't be able to collect credit card details directly, though. If you only want to collect your customer's payment details and charge them at a later date, you can take advantage of our Payment Authorization feature.

If you’ll agree to follow our Terms of Use and let us delete the offending fields mentioned above, we can lift the suspension on your account.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with this.

Hi, yes I can agree. Please remove the fields and reinstate the account.

    Hi Ben,

With your permission, I've removed the offending fields from your form. Note that removing the offending fields also removed the data associated with those fields from the old submissions you received on the form.

If you need to collect payments using your form, let me show you how to set up a Payment Integration:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the top-left side of the page.
    2. Add the fields that you want to have on your form, and then click on the Payments tab.
    3. Click on a Payment Gateway, and then click on Connect in the menu on the right side of the screen.
    4. Once you connect your account in the window that opens, you'll be ready to collect payments through your form.

Your account is active again, so you should be able to log in now.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Hi, thank you.I don’t need to collect payments in the form however I was needing to collect credit card details if the customer opts in.The background for this requirement is my client uses paper forms that have been scanned to PDFs to fulfill orders. If the customer wants to purchase using their credit card, they give the details and they are manually entered into the pdf or paper forms. Using Jotform, I was attempting to collect these fields and then use a tool to map the fields to the various PDF forms to save my client time in fulfilling the forms manually for each customer. Is there a better way of doing this? Thanks,BenSent from my iPhoneOn 19 Sep 2024, at 9:55 PM, Jotform <noreply@jotform.com> wrote:

    Hi Ben,

The only way to collect credit card information is by adding one of the payment processors available on our platform. We are very strict with this in regard to our Terms of Use.

Reach out again if you need any other help.
