Salesforce Integration: How to update data in salesforce once the approval status is approved?

We are currently using a form to Salesforce integration where form submissions successfully create records in Salesforce. Additionally, there is an approval process set up within Jotform for these submissions.

We would like to have two fields in Salesforce automatically updated based on the approval status of the form in Jotform. Specifically, when a form is either approved or denied, we want to update two fields in Salesforce.

Could you please help me figure out if this possible?

    Thank you

    Hi 8Cents,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.  If I understand your question correctly, you want the Salesforce data to be updated only if the Approval Status is approved, is that correct? If so, unfortunately, this feature is currently not available. Please confirm if this is what you are trying to do so we can look for a workaround.

Also, can you confirm that you already have these data in Salesforce and that the users will only fill out the form to update the existing data in Salesforce?

Once we hear back from you, we can move forward with a solution.

    Here's what we want:

Someone fills out the form. The data is sent to Salesforce.

It goes through the Jotform approval process.

We want to then update fields in Salesforce with "Approve" or "Denied" based on Jotform's approval process.

Is it possible or should we use Salesforce's approval process to handle the complete requirements?

    Thank you!
