Autoresponder emails not going through.

    Hello, our form is not sending the automatic emails that it should once the form is submitted.


    We have set up a condition for an email to be sent if the person ticks the field 'Yes' to the question 'Are you a cannabis patient.'


    I tried this on my other Jotform account and it worked fine - we just signed up to our business account, I did the same thing and I'm not getting the automatic emails?

    Hi Shannyn,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I check your form, our system show that the reason why form fillers who select Yes, on the I am a cannabis patient field won't receive the Autoresponder email is because the Unique Name value of the email field set as the recipient is incorrect. Take a look at the screenshots below:

    To fix this, you just need to update the Unique Name in the condition you set. Let me show you how.

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Email filed, then click on the Gear Icon and go to the Advanced tab.

    2. Click on the Field Details dropdown and Copy the Unique Name value.

    3. Click on the Settings tab, then go to the Conditions tab on the left side.

    4. Hover your mouse to the Condition and click on the Pencil Icon to Edit it.

    5. Paste the Unique Name value of the Email field, and once done, click on the Save button.

    Thanks so much for helping with this.
    I have just made these updates, however I still haven't received a form
    when I did a test.
    Can you please check to see what I've done wrong here?

    Hello Shannyn,

    I can see that you've already included the correct Unique Name, however, the reason it's not sending out is that it didn't include the curly brackets. Let me show you how to resolve this on my cloned form:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Conditions on the left of the page.
    3. Now, click the Pencil icon of the Existing condition, add the curly brackets before and after the unique name, and then click on Save.
