How to Let Users Select a Date but not Register it on the Form

    Hello,

I was wondering if this was possible.

I run a photography business that covers a wide range of area. I am looking to build a form where a client can request up to 3 times based on my calendars availability. However those appointments wouldn't actually be booked. They would just receive a confirmation that we received their request and will reach out shortly.

    Thanks,

    Jimmy

    Hi Jimmy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can add a Multiple Choice field on the form with the available dates on your calendar. Then you can add the Appointment Slots field and hide it then once you receive the submission, you can edit the form and resubmit it so that the selected dates will be selected. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click the +Add Form Element button on the left side of the page.
    2. Add the Multiple Choice and Appointment Slots field to the form.
    3. Right-click on the Appointment Slots field and select Hide.

That's it. The users can select the date that they want and submit the form. Then once you receive the submission, you can edit the submission and select the dates that the user selected on your Appointment Slots field then resubmit the form.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
