I am starting a new thread on this as it was going off track! I need to create a link for a specific submission so I can email it to the person filling out the form. But when I use the Submission ID it sends a link to the attached screenshot - which is just a copy of the form.
I need to be able to direct someone back to their form so they can edit it - but via a link.
Thank you

Hi cubanboxingcoach,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To do this, you can create a Prefill Link using the Manual Prefill feature. Let me show you how:
- Open your form in Form Builder, then click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen.
- Now, click on Prefill in the menu on the left side of the screen.
- Select Manual Prefill.
- Click Add a New Prefill.
- Fill out the fields that you want to be populated
- After filling out the form, click on Create on the right or send invitation to send the form.
Once the prefilled items are created, you can now go ahead and send them or copy the links. You can also check our guide about How to Prefill a form using Manual Prefill.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

Hello cubanboxingcoach,
If I understood what you’re asking, you wanted the link where your users can continue their unfinished form? If so, please note that this link is only available when the form 'Save and Continue Later' feature is enabled, you can find this from the Form Settings:
Or are you referring to the edit link for submitted forms? If so, you can find these from your Submission Tables:
However, after checking your form, you have Sign Automation enabled. Unfortunately, editing submission with Sign Automation is not possible for security purposes that is why this is not available for your tables, you can check my screenshot below:
If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Hi - thanks for this. The problem I need to solve is that I am partially filling out the form before I send it to the client. They then review the details, add in their details and sign the form. But as I am starting their form myself, before they see it, I don't have anyway to direct them to their form to sign.

Hello cubanboxingcoach,
If you're trying to create a link to invite your users to complete the form and sign, you can check out my colleague Lara suggestion on this thread's initial reply. You can use the manual prefill and just invite them to complete the form.
You can check out this guide about How to Prefill a form using Manual Prefill.
Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

Thanks so much. I am finding that quite difficult to follow - can you answer the below for me?
I will need the pre-populated fields to be unique to each recipient. I may have misunderstood but does this allow me to pre-fill each form differently? It also says I cannot delete the pre-filled fields but I will need to edit them.

Hi cubanboxingcoach,
If I understand you correctly, you want multiple users to edit the form submission. It can be done by adding an Edit Link into your Notification or Autoresponder Email. Once you send the Form to the second filler, they can just click the link from the email and edit the submission. When the second filler submits the form, you will then receive a notification email to edit the entry. Let me show you how:
- In your Form Builder, go to Settings.
- From the left navigation, go to Emails.
- Hover your mouse over your Notification Email or Autoresponder.
- Click on the pencil icon.
- On the Email tab, click on the email content and add a row where you want to place the Edit Link.
- Then click on the +Form Fields button after adding a row.
- Select Edit Link field.
- Lastly, click on the Save button.
That's it! Check out our guide on How to Add a Custom Edit Link to Email Alerts.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

That’s not quite what I mean.
there is only 1 user per form
- BUT I need to pre populate some fields (different for each recipient)
- I have done this by making these fields Read Only and then populating them from the Submissions table
- I then need to send the recipient the link to their form so they can read the information and sign the agreement.
BUT I don’t have a link for their form. How do I send them the link to their form if I have started it?

Hi cubanboxingcoach,
I understand that you want to pre-populate certain form elements from the submission table and have made those elements read-only. How are you prepopulating the form questions? Are you using Table prefill or creating the URL parameters manually?
Many features can be used for this. Since you have already completed the prepopulating part, could you explain a bit more about how you prepopulated the form elements and if the data is in the table? This would help me better understand what's happening and how to help you. You can also take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hi Sidarth,
The steps in my message above are how I pre-populated. i.e. from the submissions table. I create the new submission with some basic details - eg the confirmation of the details of the agreement, price, duration, number of participants (as previously agreed) and then I want to send it to the recipient so that they can complete their contact details and sign the agreement.
Thanks,
Kate

Hi Kate,
You can use Request Update action button to send the form to the recipient. You can request update submission from Submission Table to send an email to your customers so that they can complete their contact details and sign the form. Let me walk you through it:
1. Open your form in Form Builder, Click on the Downward Arrow icon next to the Jotform Logo and select Table.
2. In Submission Table, click on the Add button, located on the right side of the columns.
3. Under Button tab, select Request Update and then click on Next.
4. Enter column name and click on Next.
5. click on Fields, located on the right side of the Recipient Addresses, and then select the Email field on the form.
Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
