Hi, I have downgraded the existing jotform to free plan as I have crossed the surge period for my organizations' form requirement. However, I am not able to submit anything more despite having deleted all the forms' data previously captured and cleared trash too. Can you please look into the same and help me gain access to the form submission. Thanks in advance.

    Hello nammaauditor,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your account, and it seems that you still exceed the upload space limit for the Starter plan which is 100 MB as you're currently using 348.87 MB of Upload Space. When I checked your form, I found that you have a lot of submission data that has not been deleted permanently yet. Let me show you how to fix it:

    • In your form's table, click on the 3-dot icon beside your table name and select Trashed Entries.
    • On the menu on the right, select the data you'd like to remove permanently and click on Delete Forever.

This will free up some upload space on your account which should enable your forms again. Please note that permanently deleted submission data can no longer be recovered. Consider keeping a backup of your submission data by downloading them as EXCEL/PDF/CSV or integrating your form with Google Sheets so you'll have a backup of your data in the Cloud. We also have a guide on How to Download Form Submissions as Excel, CSV, or PDF that you can check out. You may also consider upgrading to a higher plan on our Pricing website.

Thanks a lot for your quick response. Another query in line with the same is - no. of submissions did not get reset to zero after clearing this table. The upload size got reset though. Can you help me out on this please?

    Hi Namma,

I can confirm that the monthly submission limit has been reset to zero with your Starter plan. Please note that the monthly submission limit is per account and resets on the first day of your monthly usage cycle. Deleting and purging monthly submissions, signed documents, or payment submissions will not free up your respective usage count. You can go to the Usage section of your account to confirm the monthly reset limit. Let me walk you through it:

    1. On the My Forms page, click on your Profile/Avatar in the upper right corner.
    2. Select Settings from the options.
    3. Go to Usage in the left corner.
    4. Under Monthly Usage, you can confirm your monthly limit reset.Account still shows overlimit after deleting submission data Image 1 Screenshot 20
