Jotform Sign: How to Sign in an order

When my client got the form, he was unable to sign only his part of the form – the form was requiring him to sign both signature fields. I ended up having to sign it first myself, which is not ideal, in case clients request changes. How do I avoid that in the future?

    Hi karen,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If I understood you correctly, you are having an issue with Jotform Sign Documents. If this is the case, and you want to let your Client sign first, you can toggle on the Signing Order. It is really easy to turn it on, let me show you how:

    1. In Jotform Sign builder, select Send at the top.

    2. Under Recipient tab, toggle on Signing Order.

    3. With your mouse, click on, hold, and drag the Six Dots icon on the left side of the signers to put them in the order you want.

    4. Enter Names and Email IDs of signers & click on Send button.

Additionally, you can also set the Signer against each sign field in Jotform Sign document. Let me show you how:

    1. In Jotform Sign builder, select any Sign field and click on Gear icon.

    2. Under Field Assignee, set the Signer.
