The original PDF is missing from the form

Hello -

I have a form, which I have set-up as a PDF for parents to sign. The form looks like this:

However, when I try to sign it and see what it looks like signed, it looks different. It looks like an older version. I believe this is the original PDF. I changed the older version of the form - where is this coming pulling from? How do I change this?

Hi Dotsy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. After checking, the form is created using our Smart PDF Form that convert your PDF file into online form. At the present, the connection with original PDF have been disconnected, but you have created a new PDF form in your PDF Editor.

In Jotform Smart PDF, we have three different PDF files:

1. Original PDF file: The file that was uploaded to our builder, and what our builder use to convert PDF into online form at the beginning of the form building process.
2. PDF document: The PDF templates that are created in PDF Editor, when submission is submitted to your online form, our builder will apply their submission into PDF document, which you can download as PDF file.
3. PDF form: The PDF version of your form, created in PDF Editor, and can be downloaded as PDF file and filled directly.

If you are referring to the first PDF that was uploaded to your form, or the original PDF file, you will need to enable the connection in your form builder, let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on Settings at the top blue navigation bar.
2. Toggle Original PDF connection to your Online Form on.
   
3. Click on Build and the PDF should appear on the right-side of your screen.
   
4. You can also change the original PDF file by clicking on Upload at the top blue navigation bar.
5. Click on Update PDF and select your new PDF file.
