How to Automatically delete submission to clear my upload space

I've integrated my form with one drive. Will videos and media uploaded to the form impact the maximum amount of media allowed on jot form? Even if it's going directly to onedrive and not being saved to jot form? I don't want there to be limits on the media uploaded because I have enough space in my onedrive, but I'm concerned that jot form will fill up too quickly. We wanted to use this service as a place for people to upload videos and photos taken during our wedding that would go straight to our onedrive, but I don't want it to be cut off when it hits the 100 megabyte limit on jot form

    Hi Jack,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. All Submission Data are stored first in Jotform before it is forwarded to the integration, such as OneDrive. You can delete and purge the submission data to free up your Upload Space. Here's how to do it:

    How to delete Submission Data:

    1. In Tables, hover your cursor over the first column of the submission data and click on the checkbox to select the submission data.

    2. On the right side of the screen, click on Delete.

How to purge deleted Submission data:

    1. In Tables, click on the three vertical dots icon beside the Tab name.

    2. Select Trashed entries.

    3. Click on the checkbox beside Select All.

    4. Click on Delete Forever.

    Thanks, Chris!

Is there any way to purge the items automatically or to have it bypass Jotform entirely? People will be uploading pretty consistently during the night (hopefully) and we wouldn't be able to monitor it to continue purging. Thanks!

    Jack

    Hi Jack,

Yes, you can Delete the Form Submissions Automatically from the account, however, those deleted submissions will be stored in your Trash entries and still affect your Upload space limit. you need to manually purge them from the trash folder as my colleague suggested above. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Settings tab.
    2. Then, click on Show More Options in Form Settings.
    3. Scroll down to Auto-Delete Submissions setting and click on the Enable button.
    4. In the Auto-Delete Submissions modal, select a time frame from the Deletion Period dropdown menu.
    5. Then, click on Next. In the next screen, click on Yes, Update to save and update your form settings.

Please note that Automatically deleted submissions, including those deleted while enabling this feature, will be stored in Trashed entries and still occupy your account’s storage space. You can delete them manually or wait for them to be automatically removed after 30 days.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Thank you! Are there any auto-delete trash options?

    Hi Jack,

Trashed entries will automatically be removed after 30 days. Currently, there isn't a customizable option to set a shorter auto-delete period for trashed submissions. However, you can manually empty the Trash folder at any time if you want to permanently delete the submissions sooner.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
