I forgot my access code for my form. If I duplicate the form and make changes to it can I get a new access code or will it be under the same access code as the original form?

    Hi Ayanna,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, you can simply clone the form and set a new access code. This will clone all the settings, which you can edit and customize. A new URL will be created for the cloned form, but submissions will not be moved. Let me show you how:

    1. Copy the URL of the form that you’d like to clone.
    2. Go to My Forms and select Create Form in the upper-left corner.

    3. Next, select Import Form.Encrypted Submission: Forgot access code? Image 2 Screenshot 51
    4. Now, select From a web page and paste the form’s address in the Enter URL field.
    5. Finally, select Create Form at the bottom.Encrypted Submission: Forgot access code? Image 3 Screenshot 62

You will be redirected to the Form Builder afterward, where you can start working on your newly cloned form. You can check out this guide about How to Clone an Existing Form From a URL.
