Two-way integration with Google Calendar

Is it on the roadmap to have two-way integration with Google Calendar? E.g. I'd like the ability for a Jotform appointment scheduling form to look at my Google Cal and see if a timeslot is available, and not allow scheduling at that time.

If it is NOT on the roadmap, consider this a feature request please!!

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for raising this to Jotform Support. I have gone ahead and raised this request as a feature request to the development team. I tested out this functionality myself and even on a blocked time-slot Jotform did send me a meeting request for an un-available time. Please note that we cannot provide you with an ETA on this feature request, it is up to the development team to assess and prioritise this ticket depending on competing priorities and their already existing workload. Rest assured we will get back to you as soon as this feature request has been completed.

Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. In the meantime please continue to let us know how we can assist you moving forward.

Thank you. Is there a publicly available list of improvements and features y'all are working on?

Ok, you can consider that another feature request then :) You could have your users vote on what's most important to them, and have a centralized location for users to submit ideas (AND have it search for similar ideas to weed out duplicates), saving your customer service team time and effort.

They have been dodging this request for years..... not having two way sync makes the appointment element pretty much useless except for very limited tasks.
Don't hold your breath waiting for them to address this.
You can only have one appointment type.

    Hi,

We’re excited to announce that we’ve made some improvements to our Google Calendar integration! Now, data transfers between Google Calendar and Jotform will be fully synchronized in both directions. For example, if any events on your calendar overlap with the available time slots offered through the Appointment Field, those slots will automatically show as unavailable. Integrating Google Calendar with your form is simple. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, select the Appointment Field and then click on the Gear icon on the right.

    2. Then, select Google Calendar. You’ll need to log into your Google Account if your account isn’t already linked to one.

    3. In the window that opens up, click on Add Action.

    4. In the next window, choose which Calendar the submissions should be added to. Then set the Event Title, add the Attendees, write the Event Description, and enter the Meeting Location. Once you're done, click on Save.

If you want to use the 2-way connection (through the Appointment Field) on a form that already has an active Google Calendar integration, we recommend disabling the current integration in the Integration menu. Let me show you how to do that:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.

    2. Then, select Integrations in the menu on the left, and click on Google Calendar.

    3. In the All Actions section, click on the Three Dots icon in the top-right corner of the existing integration, then select Disable Action.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
