Encryption necessary?

If my form collects social security and drivers license numbers but I have the Gold plan...do I have to encrypt the form?

I want to allow the user to update their submission as needed but I am wondering if this will still be possible if I encrypt the form.

So is encryption in my case absolutely necessary?

Unfortunately, the users will not be able to edit their submissions if the encryption is in place. This due to privacy reasons and it will require for the users to have the private key to view or edit their own submissions.

I recommend that you keep the forms normally as this will allow your users to update their submissions with the link that can be sent to them.
