Email notifications are not sent

    Within the last 5 days, my forms are not being emailed to me. I have double checked all settings. A test will go through, but not a completed form.

    I do find them in the submissions so I can download, but not being alerted that there is a form is puzzling and not convenient!

    Hi Cheri,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form and it seems that one of your email recipients, ch***@do****y.info, is in the bounce list. The bounce list is a list to which an email address is added when an email can't be delivered. It could be due to a non-existent/inactive email address, your mail server being unavailable, your email server has rejected the emails due to suspected spam, your mailbox is full or Jotform is on your blacklist.

    To avoid these issues, here is a guide on how to prevent email bouncing. You could also whitelist our IP addresses to avoid emails being blocked due to any security filter, this guide will help you with that. We also have a guide on How to Remove Your Email Address From the Bounce List that you can check. If this is not the email address you are referring to, can you provide us with the correct one so we can check it on our end? Can you also test the form again and check if the issue happens again?

    This is the response I get when I try to check if my business email is on the bounce list:

    "You are only allowed to search for your email address in your Account. Please enter your own email address to proceed." 

    My personal email is on the Jotform account, but, I have been receiving emails to my business email for almost 10 years, until July 3rd, 2024 to be precise.

    Very frustrating!!!!

    Hi Cheri,

    Unfortunately, removing other email from bounce list as a user is not possible. You can only remove your own email address used in your account from the bounce list. I will check on this with the relevant team to remove them on the bounce list. We will inform you on this support thread as soon as we hear from them.

    Hi Cheri,

    We have successfully removed the email addresses listed in your notification email in our bounce list. You can try sending a submission to the form and check if the listed recipients receive the email notification.

    Every form was being emailed correctly until yesterday. Again I am on the "Bounce" list. My email cburger2@gmail.com AND cheri@doglady.info.


    What is going on with this "bounce" list??

    Hi Cheri,

    I check the email address that you have provided, and it has different results. The email address, cbu*****@gm***.c** was already not on the bounce list. Are you supposed to receive any emails on this address? If yes, can you try checking the spam folder and look for any Jotform emails and mark it as not spam?

    Also, the email address, che**@dog****.in** is in the bounce list. I already forwarded your concern to the relevant team to remove the email address in the bounce list. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

    I just got an update to the relevant team, they already removed the email address in the bounce list. You should be able to receive emails by now.
