Is there a way to disable form status for a certain time of day vs. a date or number of responses? We need it to stop the form after a certain time of day each day.
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Sure, you can disable form after certain submissions or on a specific datein just a few easy steps. Let me show you how:
In Form builder, select Settings at the top.
Click on Form Status, and choose Disable on specific date or at submission limit.
Set the submission limit and form disable time, once either of condition fulfilled the form will be disabled automatically.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a feature to disable Jotform on a specific time of each day, but what we can do is hide all the fields and add a paragraph field on the form with the message that form is only available to fill between 9:00 to 17:00 or any other message which you want to show. Here’s how to do it:
InForm Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
Under the Basic tab, scroll down to Time, and drag and drop a Time element to your form.
Select Time element, click on Gear icon, under advanced tab toggle the Read Only and Hide options & under the Options tab set the Default Time to Current.
InForm Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
Under the Basic tab, scroll down to Paragraph, and drag and drop a Paragraph element to your form.
Select the Paragraph element, click on Pencil icon to edit text and add text which you want to show when form is disabled.
Select the Paragraph element, click on Gear icon and under Advanced tab toggle Hide option.
In Form builder, select Settings at the top.
In the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Conditions.
Click on + Add condition and choose Show/Hide Field.
